Playground Safety

27 November 2015

To further improve playground safety on the 4,5,6 playground we have introduced a new system. The playground is in two parts: the wood chip area and the larger hard court area. We have added an additional member of staff to our duty rota each day and also introduced high visibility vests. Children who are playing on the wood chip area wear high visibility vests (orange for Years4/6), yellow (Years3/5) and there is a maximum of 40 children.  For safety reasons children are not allowed to play chasing games in the area.

It has been great going out and seeing all the news games children have learned this week in action such as skipping games, rhymes and claps, ball games.
