Eco Team News

29 April 2015

As part of the Earth Day celebrations at B.I.S.B. members of the Primary Eco Team headed over to our Dolinskeho site and led several Eco based activities with both reception classes.

Students from year 3&5 read the popular story A Very Hungry Caterpillar followed by an activity where the younger children got to learn all about planting fruit, vegetables and herbs as well as plant their own selection of seeds in recycled pots. The reception classes will hopefully look after their own pots and watch grow before replanting within the school grounds.

We finished off the morning by making fruit kebabs, again with the help of our Eco Team students, at the end of the morning all the children enjoyed sitting down to eat their healthy snack fruit kebabs.
