Depleted BISB Team Do Their Best

22 January 2016

The third round of matches took place in the Tomašov Bauer Cup on Saturday 9th January.
A combination a factors meant the BISB team was down to the bare minimum of 5 players for the latest round of fixture, but they still managed to give a good account of themselves.

Goals from Ben Cox in the first two matches helped secure a 1 – 0 win and a 1 -1 draw.
The defense also worked really well and our stand in goalkeeper Victor Barbier made some great saves. By the third and fourth matches a combination of tiredness and injuries took their toll and the team lost 3 – 1 and 4 -2. However, another goal from Ben and two from Josh Bradshaw in the last match meant the games were competitive.
Well done to Luis Lahoz Powter, Jacob Wilcox, Viktor Barbier, Ben Cox and Josh Bradshaw for turning up and making the effort.  The BISB retains its position in second place behind Tomašov but ahead of Šamorín, Senec and Podunajske Biskupice.
Well done team!
