Last weekend the boys choir flew away to the UK once again to take part in Cambiata Northwest, the largest changing voice boys' choir in the UK.

Due to changing flight patterns they ended up with an extra day in the UK and spent it at the zoo in Blackpool looking at the animals before heading to the choir rehearsals on Saturday.

A few of the boys found that their voices had changed significantly from last year and they were placed in different sections of the choir.  This year we have boys from BISB in 3 out of 4 sections of the choir which means they can practise all the complicated harmonies when back at school giving them a much fuller sound to practise with.

The music is once again an eclectic mix of songs and the boys were delighted to find out that they will be performing “Skyfall” in the concert in March.

After rehearsals we spent the evening at the cinema and visited the National Football Museum on the Sunday before catching our flight home.  The boys all enjoyed the trip a lot and we will be returning for the next rehearsal on January 12th.
