Year 6 Assembly

01 December 2016

Following the success of the first ever World Languages assembly last year, this year we will have individual assemblies for all the year groups who study World Languages.

Y6 was the first and presented cool rap songs that they partially invented! Due to the creative illustrations, the audience followed along with us. The French group performed an entertaining song: "Jean Petit Qui Danse" with a catchy melody. The three groups sang the famous 'Brother John' song together in German, French and English and all the audience joined in for the English part. Finally, we compared different words in German, French and English and realised that besides the differences there are also many similarities.

Well done, Year 6!
