Vienna Science Fair

10 March 2016

This weekend we have student scientists from Years 9 and 11 attending the Vienna Science Fair to present the projects that they have been working on during Enrichment sessions. This year’s theme is Transportation and we have projects ranging from ‘The effect of calcium on driver alertness’ to ‘The design of a flow battery’ and ‘Improving inter-vehicle communication’.
Last year all students received a merit certificate and Melisa Sirotkova was presented with an award for the best project by a female scientist when she was in Year 10.  Hopefully, this weekend they will repeat that success….more details in the next newsletter.
