Year 5 gardeners and scientists

25 May 2017

Year 5 have been gardeners and scientists combined this week! We planted some seeds last week to investigate what a plant needs to grow and have arrived back after the weekend to see some healthy sprouts!

We know plants need sunlight and water, but we are going to experiment to see whether too much water damages the plant. Or, will a plant with a good amount of water but no sunlight still grow? We are excited to see what happens over the coming weeks! We have also been practising our ICT skills by making a line graph using Excel to show how our plant grows over time.
