Today a small group of students travelled to Kramare Children’s Hospital to see the early work done from our fundraising efforts for the Orthopaedic Ward. In total, we have raised over 21,000 Euro for the Ward to renovate the children’s play area and buy new toys and equipment. We were able to tour the ward, speak with Dr Milan Kokavec, the Head of Orthopaedics and Dr Ladislav Kuzela, the Director of the Hospital. TA3 News reporters were also there covering the event and Jan and Anastasia spoke very well to the TV crew explaining what we had been doing. In a speech of thanks to the School, Dr Kokavec spoke about how impressed and moved he was by the fact the whole Make It Right Project had been developed by our students, because they wanted to help other children.
