Young leaders award

On Friday 7th December, the following Year 10 students taught class 5C as part of their Young Leaders Award: Kofi Th, Sarah Zv, Rebecca La, Jakub Fe, Sam Ja, Clara Ma, Ryan Zh, Jae Pa., Artur Ja, Elivra Go, Max Si, Max Kha and Karl Da.

This is a new award within BISB developing desirable leadership skills and behaviours amongst students as well as challenging them to lead younger students in different contexts.
These Year 10 students committed to planning enjoyable, safe and adaptable sessions for the younger students to experience. Feedback from the Year 5 students included:

“It was fun and the Year 10 students presented well”

“I wish the games could have lasted longer!”
The Young Leaders certificates will be presented to the above students this week in assembly and I hope they are very proud of their achievements.
