This term, a group of Key Stage 3 students continued to visit the Dubravka Community Centre (Centrum rodiny, n.o.).  They support the centre by offering their services to improve the establishment and make craft gifts to help raise money.

Last week was particularly memorable as Se Hyun and Yumin gave a presentation about their home country S Korea. The guests were enthralled and impressed by what our students had to say.  They marveled at the Korean national dress and loved the homemade Korean food, especially the Kimbap!  The younger members of the audience got very excited when the talk moved on to matters relating to K-pop! Many thanks to Se Hyun and Yumin for their fantastic effort and also to Kerim who supported the technical side.

The mayor of Dubravka happened to be there for a meeting and popped in to see the event.

The centre manager, Alzbeta Sporerova, continues to be an inspiration to our students as well as to the local community.
