Dear parents,

The TEDx organising team would like to invite you to this year’s TEDx. The event will be on the on 21st March with the speaker sessions from 5:00-8:00pm and workshops and other activities to enjoy from 3:00-5:00pm, both taking place in our school gym and theatre.

2018 is the seventh year that BISB is hosting and organizing a TEDx. TED is a non-profit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It brings together technology, entertainment, design, and covers almost all topics. In the spirit of spreading ideas, TEDx is a program organized independently in local communities. At a TEDx event, speakers come and talk of their own experiences or views to further inspire the audience and result in discussions and actions.

This year, TEDxBISB's theme is ‘Dare to ___’. We found that this theme is applicable to all experiencing stagnation and in need of inspriation, and is particularly relevant in today's competitive and technologically advanced world. Our TEDx ensures a wide range of speakers that will focus on exploring the notion of daring to go into the unknown. Whether you are engrossed in technology, arts, the future or something completely different, you will be sure to find presentations that will target your interests.

To enhance your experience with TEDxBISB we put together free, entertaining and enjoyable workshops. Delicious food, interactive creations and exciting activities are all something you can look forward to. Prepare to learn new things, share ideas and above all have fun with your friends and family within the BISB community.
