Vienna Science Fair

03 May 2018

For the past four years, we have had students enter the Vienna Science Fair, which is organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Students representing schools from all over Europe attended the Fair and there were many interesting projects on display. These ranged from finding out ‘How magnetic is fruit?’ to an investigation into ‘Acid rain and acid snow’.

Two of our Key Stage 3 students entered this year. Anastasia Dvachkova received a Commendation for her work on Planet Earth while Darius Vicovan was given the Best Junior Project Award for his project about Satellite clusters around Venus.

Both students should be very proud of their achievement. They both spent a lot of time and energy completing their projects, both at school and at home, and they have shown what can be achieved with commitment and determination. Well done to both of them; they are an inspiration to all of our young Scientists!
