Year 8 Junior Award Presentation

31 May 2018

Over the past year, Year 8 students have been working to try and complete the Junior Award Diploma. The areas that the award focuses on are communication, team work, commitment and creativity.

Students had to complete eight hours for each of these areas throughout the year. The idea of the award is to develop in the students a broad range of skills through the involvement in a range of activities. The students who had completed all of these activities, and had recorded them in their award booklet and presented them to their Form Tutors were presented with their diplomas. During the assembly, Maddy K and Mieke S gave a great overview of what they had achieved during the award and explained how it had developed them personally. Then Mr Evans and Ms Statovci presented the certificates to the students.

BISB would like to say  well done to all  students who participated in the Diploma, and a massive well done to all those students that managed to complete the award!
