Nursery children made the most of the last of the sunshine as they took turns to walk in small groups all the way to the Ice Cream Parlour in Dubravka. There was a lot of lovely chat on the way, mainly about the different types of Ice Cream, but we also found out whose car was the biggest, and of course the fastest (mummy’s or daddy’s?) as well as whose daddy is tallest! The children were able to walk very sensibly along the path, then had a bit of a run around as we cut through the park. The children chose their ice creams, and we sat down together to eat them. We giggled at our ice Cream moustaches and beards, and about how our tongue changed colour too! When we finished, with a little encouragement, the children helped tidy up the space before we returned to Nursery.
