KS3 Global Library Challenge

The English Department and the library are pleased to announce the start of this year’s Global Library Challenge for KS3. This reading initiative promises to take our students on an exciting reading adventure which will culminate in our students voting for their favourite book during Book Week April 2022.

The challenge began this week when pupils loaned their first Global Library book from the library. This year each year group has a different reading list. There will be a range of Global Library Challenge related activities in English lessons and a chance for pupils to show their knowledge of the books in April.

The intention of the Global Library Challenge is to expose our pupils to a variety of children’s authors and get them to try out new genres of fiction, hopefully encouraging a love of reading which will last beyond secondary school.
