Katarina Euell

“Never give up” is my credo. Anything is possible if you really want to make it happen.

I achieved my best results training hard during my synchronised swimming career on the Slovak National Team. I enjoyed every minute of it, because I saw the results and improvements, and to be even better was my engine.

Later I became a coach myself, and when my team won 2 gold medals at the World and European Championships, I knew that the decision to teach others was worth it. Later on I was looking for a new goal, so I decided to run a marathon.

Being a teacher, I like to encourage my students to find their own sport and to take steps to follow their dreams. Discipline and perseverance are the keys to success in sport. I am very happy that some of my past students are now coaches too and are passing their knowledge and skills to younger ones.

The best days for me are days with my family, doing something outside, such as running, inline skating, camping, biking or swimming.
