Matus Sagan

German Teacher

I already knew by the time I was in primary school that I wanted to become a teacher, and that the German language is my passion. After completing my M.A. in German as foreign language in Berlin I decided to take a Master’s degree in History in Bratislava as well.

During my studies, I took part in an internship in Australia, where I spent a semester teaching German at university. I’ve also gained some teaching experience in the US where I was giving extra German classes. Other teaching experience includes working at the Goethe Institute in Bratislava, leading language courses for different levels.

I love German, teaching, the international environment and being in contact with people from all four corners of the world, and BISB gives me the privilege of doing all of my passions in the one place. I’m interested in foreign languages as well as reading, discussing history and politics, travelling, and I’m also a big fan and proud owner of a VW Beetle.
