Lee Darwell

Head of Humanities, Geography and Global Perspectives & 11LD Tutor

I studied Geography at Manchester University. After graduating I spent four years teaching English in London and Japan then worked for four years in the travel industry, before finding my true calling teaching Geography. I completed my PGCE teacher training at the University of East Anglia and moved to Slovakia in 2004. I have a Masters in Education from the Open University and I am a registered Chartered Geographer as awarded by the Royal Geographical Society.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cycling and turning base metals into gold.
