Higher Level Teaching Assistant

After completing my studies at high school, I spent 2 years in Scotland and England. While living in Scotland, I attended Langside College in Glasgow. Before my return to Slovakia I gained the Cambridge certificate in English Language.

Studying at the Comenius University in Bratislava I acquired an MA degree in translation and interpreting in English language and culture and Italian language and culture. During my study at university, I taught English for a language school and in various companies.

Straight after my graduation, I applied for a position of an administrative assistant at BISB. I was highly interested in this post as I wanted to work in an English speaking environment with possibility to use other languages (Italian and Spanish).

After 1,5 year I became a personnel officer. I have been working at BISB for 6 years and in my 7th year changed my career and became a teaching assistant in Year 2. The following 6years I worked in Year 1 and Reception and from academic year 2019/20 I accepted a new challenge of working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for KS1.

I am very passionate about children, animals and nature. I love staying outside, walking my dog in the woods, travelling, reading books, watching European films, learning languages, exercising, healthy cooking and I am trying to live happy and healthy life.
