The students at the music festival are doing so well. The experience is a challenge for them but they are making BCB proud by just getting involved. Yesterday they had workshops & rehearsals preparing for our big concert tomorrow and the piano players all received a one on one lesson from a piano teacher. The teachers were also put through their paces in a conducting workshop led by a Juilliard trained conductor. We are all learning a lot (staff and students) and gaining lots of opportunities to develop our musicianship skills.

We went to watch the Buffalo symphony orchestra yesterday evening and enjoyed a question and answer session with world-renowned conductor JoAnn Falleta. In contrast, we had a fun morning today at the water park enjoying the Florida sunshine. This evening we have been rehearsing for our own concert tomorrow and ended with a concert of Julliard alumni performing student compositions. Overall a long but exciting day.
