Nenita Simbahan-Uk

Staff Profile - Nenita Simbahan-Uk

MYP & DP Mathematics Teacher, SA & CAS Coordinator

Nenita joined Northbridge International School Cambodia in 2004. Prior to working at Northbridge, she was a secondary math teacher at De La Salle Zobel, Philippines.

  • Bachelor of Science in Mathematics doubled with Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics, De La Salle University, Philippines

Nenita worked as an Actuarial Assistant in an insurance company in the Philippines before she ventured into teaching. She found teaching a very rewarding profession and so she decided to keep going. She has now been in this field for 20 years and counting. Apart from teaching, she also finds SA and CAS responsibilities gratifying as she sees her students get genuinely involved in the community throughout the process. This year, she is looking forward to having more service-oriented initiatives from the CAS students.

Nenita has been married for 15 years with one son. She considers Cambodia her second home.  She enjoys biking, cooking for her friends and family and singing karaoke with family.
