Teacher showcase : Damien Bottéon

1, 2, 3 ... I will start this presentation, which you all will agree, is not easy for someone who cares more about others.

After a little atypical school career, I was given the opportunity to discover the world of education with Science and "Life of the Earth", firstly amongst high school students. Soon, it was obvious that sharing knowledge and methods as well as supporting students on their journey, would become my daily life.

Since 2006, Collège Champittet has given me the opportunity to expand my skills, particularly with the introduction of new technologies, as well as the possibility of integrating many of my passions into my teaching; passions such as woodworking, cooking, first aid or sports activities. The trust granted by my superiors, as well as by my colleagues and parents, has made me a better teacher and has revealed certain skills. Each year brings a lot of good memories and gives me the pleasure of seeing students blossom. If I had to remember just one thing, it would be that every effort made pays out and it is simultaneously one of the principles in the education of my soon to be four children.
