Showcase of Anne Gudin-Recoing

I have been the school director at Nyon since the day that the “little” sister school of Pully opened 13 years ago. I also want to take this opportunity to express how thankful I am for our good collaboration and their continuous support.

Prior to this, I managed the junior section of a boarding house in the region for 14 years.

My husband, 2 sons and I lived with these boarding children aged 8 to 12, who came from different and faraway countries. This meant that we were their “2nd family”. The next 3 years, I took care of the “senior” girls and boys at this same institute. In addition to being part of the management team, I taught upper level primary classes and helped older students who had difficulty with their homework. During the 5 summer camps that I taught French as a foreign language and ran different activities I learned a lot. Previously, my husband and I created and managed an equestrian centre for 8 years in western France, the region where I am originally from. Intense and interesting life!

From the beginning, I have had an unwavering commitment to Champittet. This closely-knit school for young children allows for a friendly, family atmosphere. We have a solid team, from our teachers to supervisors, and from the administration to bus drivers. Our common goal is to make children happy during their time at school and in their life. The smiles and hugs of the “little” ones in the mornings or when I come to the playground are what mean the most to me. As well as when the older ones respectfully say “hi”. I think that I am ready to be a grandmother!

I enjoy reading, nature, hikes, horseback riding, the ocean, scuba diving… and much more.

Long live Champittet Nyon!
