CIS College Night in Geneva

On 1st of October we all went to the “CIS College Night” with our Guidance Counsellor Mrs. Demaison. It took place at the international school of Geneva. Universities from Europe, United States and the UK were there.
  • CIS College Night à Genève

I was pretty excited because I always wanted to go to College in the United States, and this event was the perfect way to help me get a clearer idea about my future and how I can achieve it.

I’ve always been passionate about History, and going to NYC is my goal in life, so the only way to do both is the go to Columbia University, which was also at the CIS college night.

I talked to the man in charge of the admissions: we spoke about the grades and the study courses. He gave me more details about the Extended Essay and the History department of the campus, and then I realised that I don’t need to look for another university: I already found the perfect one!

Now I know exactly what grades I need in each subject to get a step closer to my dream. I’m already looking forward to going back to the CIS career fair next year!
