Teacher showcase: Nathalie Balduck

Every month, we will introduce you to one of our teachers. This month, Nathalie Balduck kindly agreed to answer our questions.
Nathalie Balduck has been teaching primary school FLE (French as a foreign language) and English at our school since 2009. Before joining our school, Nathalie taught in South Africa and Belgium, her country of origin. She is passionate about game-based learning, and encourages her pupils to be creative with technology. With two young children aged 5 and 3, who attend Collège Champittet, Nathalie is often very busy! When she does have some time to herself, she enjoys reading fantasy novels and playing around with new technology. Nathalie is particularly proud to be part of the Champittet family when she sees how easily the children pick up new languages and switch between them. One of Nathalie’s favourite quotes is “It always seems impossible until it’s done” – Nelson Mandela.
