On Saturday, November 26, the Collège Champittet Foundation welcomed a record turnout of nearly 170 people to its fourth ball, which was held in the splendid Sandoz Room of the Beau-Rivage Palace!
This year, the foundation supported 1001fontaines which aims to provide clean water to remote areas of Cambodia, in particular to schools, thereby reducing absenteeism. One of the various highlights of the evening, which was hosted by Francois Egger, included a successful live and silent auction, through which a considerable amount of money was raised. The presentations of Chay Lo, who is charge of 1001fontaines operations in Cambodia, and Julien Ancele, the director of the association, also shed some light on the current situation in Cambodia. Overall, we were able to collect more than CHF 40’000 for this good cause!
