Art Basel

We (Alla, Salome, Junyan and Victoria) went on a trip to Basel on Saturday the 18th of June 2016 with Ms. Colin in order to complete the curriculum of the year for our IB Art. We got to see some of our favorite artists, such as Jackson Pollock, Picasso or Martin Creed, as well as other thousands of artworks throughout this huge art fair.

  • Visite d’Art Basel

Salomé says: “I have kept the explanations of every artwork I would like to study in more depth, the techniques used by the artists and I’m now more curious about their way of working and selling. Art Basel made me realise how important the installation is - a good tool for the exhibition I plan to organise next year. I will always remember what I felt being in such an exciting environment, and that inspired me for the future.” Overall, we all got to discover things we had never seen before, or hadn’t even thought could even exist, inspiring us for what is awaiting us next year.
