Reading Olympics

On the 18th of May, the reading Olympics took place at Café 1903. In accordance with this year’s theme, these reading Olympics included literature from the First World War. Organised jointly by the French department and the library, the event brought primary and secondary students together to share a pleasant moment and engage in analytical discussions about the six publications, which were chosen by the teachers depending on the participant’s ages. All of the students were determined and eager to win the prize of the best literary analysis, which will be awarded during the next graduation ceremony. This is an event that aims to arouse and develop interest for literature and debates. While a new topic has yet to be determined, it will be held again next year. Suggestions are welcome from all members of the Champittet community!
