Lucy holds a BSc(hons) degree from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen and a PGCE Primary with Qualified Teacher Status from the University of Lancaster. In addition, she holds an Associateship Diploma from London College of Music and Drama.
Lucy is a knowledgeable, passionate teacher with over 17 years of experience. Since, starting her teaching career in Devon, UK, she has taught across all Primary and Early Years year groups in both state and independent schools in the UK and in Thailand and has led staff teams, key stages and departments in several schools. Most recently, she has been teaching in Bangkok with a leadership role in English. Her curriculum leadership experience covers English, Assessment, Inclusion, Music, The Arts and Maths. Lucy has also been involved with Initial Teacher Training with York St John University, Exeter University and the University College of St Mark and St John (Marjon) Plymouth.
She values working collaboratively with colleagues and is passionate that education is a positive, valuable experience for every child. Lucy is delighted to be returning to Regents with her family, having previously been Head of Primary Music from 2011-2015.
