Kobie Bacchus

Physics Teacher

Kobie holds a Bsc.(Hons) in Biochemistry from Queen Mary University of  London (UK),and has achieved qualified teacher status via the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP).

He has continued his learning journey in both British and international schools. In 2014, after working in London schools for 11 years where he progressed to leading science departments, he moved to Qatar with his family. He has adopted  several different roles teaching Physics, Biology, Environmental Sciences and leading outdoor expeditions within these schools. He enjoys teaching where his guidance to learners in and out of the classroom makes their learning personal and relevant to their own experiences.

He is very excited to be part of the Regents community embracing its values of holistic learning for students.

Outside of school he enjoys being with his family, hiking, cycling, running and kayaking; taking part in as many outdoor activities as he can.
