Year 4: Arts & Crafts Day

Last week 4C Foxes had a wonderful ‘ARTS & CRAFTS’ day. We were celebrating the art and artists of the Great Silk Road.

We were celebrating the art and artists of the Great Silk Road.

We were joined for the day by a wonderful artist, Mrs. Dilnoza Narzullaeva. She helped the children to make a pot or a plate on a potter’s wheel, create small clay toy whistles, decorate small cups with different colour glazes and gave the children the chance to work on some beautiful embroidery.

It was a little messy at times, but the children loved the opportunity to work with such an amazing lady. She will return in a few week time with our fired pots and clay-work for the children to keep and take home. Wow!
