Chris has been an educator for fifteen years, ten of those teaching internationally, mainly in the Middle East and parts of the Caribbean. Chris worked in Qatar for four years as a Year 5 classroom teacher, during this time he took on numerous responsibilities, including Head of Mathematics in Upper Key Stage 2 and various coaching roles within the Secondary School Sports Department. He then moved to Saudi Arabia for the next two years working as a Year 5 classroom teacher, during this time Chris was whole school Leader for Learning in Science. For the next five years, Chris expanded his teaching horizons working in Abu Dhabi, Cayman Islands and the past academic year taking on a role in Tajikistan. He worked as Year 4 classroom teacher, as well as taking on other responsibly, notably in an Assistant Principal role. Chris has a great interest in sport and loves experiencing new cultures through travelling the world with his family, bringing this tactfully into his teaching practice for others to learn from.
