Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Marketing, Trinity College London Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, PGCE in Primary Education with Modern Foreign Languages: Italian.
Mazhar is from Glasgow, Scotland. He graduated from the University of Stirling with a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing. He worked for seven years in Italy, initially as an English teacher and later as an International Marketing Manager. In 2006, he qualified from Canterbury Christ Church University with a PGCE in Primary Education with Italian as a Modern Foreign Language. After having spent six successful years teaching in Canterbury, he continued his teaching career in the Czech Republic. He worked at the Prague British International School for eight years and is excited about pursuing his career at The British School of Tashkent. He enjoys most sports, but his favourites ones by far are badminton, running and cricket. He also likes going to the cinema and speaks several languages including Italian, Czech and Urdu. He is looking forward to adding Russian and possibly Uzbek to his list of languages! Mazhar supports his hometown football team, Glasgow Celtic.
