Octorber
Manh Huy from Year 7 is our ‘Artist of the month’ for his stunning replica of Vincent Van Gogh’s work ‘Landscape with House and Ploughman’.
November
For the month of November, I would like to make Thanh Tri NGUYEN and Quang Minh NGUYEN artists of the month for their amazing stop motion animation. They worked together as part of a team to plan, create and film their very own stop motion animation. Not only did it have a story line, but the drawings they used were excellent and the filming of it was accurate. They showed great team work and perseverance during this task.
December
For the month of December I would like to commend Hae In YUN and Jess LEE for their stunning watercolour flower pieces. Both are done in the style of Georgia O’Keefe and I feel that they have truly mastered her style and refined their watercolour skills.
January
Congratulations to VU Thuy Linh (year 9) for her incredible half-face portrait. She has demonstrated real skill, commitment and perseverance in this task and truly deserves to be our Artist of the month.

February
Phuong Anh Le in 9S has been awarded this month's Artist of the Month. In her recent project on Portraiture Phuong Anh has shown great skill and determination to achieve a high level of accuracy in all of her outcomes. This has included an accurate self-portrait study in pencil, an in depth and beautifully presented homework researching portraiture work by Andy Warhol and an outstanding half portrait study. She is a very ambitious and talented Artist who fully deserves to be awarded this month's Artist of the Month.
