The Prefect Team Training

Last Sunday BIS hosted a training session for our prefects – both the new members of the team from Year 12 and those in Years 11 and 13 who have already been working hard to help keep our school a safe and happy environment for everybody.

The prefects’ role at BIS is to help students feel connected, safe and engaged, and to help staff in the everyday running of the school.

The prefect team spent several hours on Sunday taking part in team building activities, planning their duties and finding out about safety procedures.

Following the session, there was good feedback from the prefects, especially about the role-playing for scenarios, and training for safeguarding students, that we will work on for next year.
