We are immensely proud of our IB students’ outstanding achievements, particularly in a year where the pandemic created significant challenges. Their impressive results are of great credit to their resilience and hard work and pave the way for them to attend the world’s top universities. This year’s results are also testament to the dedication, creativity and inspiration of our talented teachers who have ensured our students excel in their learning.

Our students achieve more than they may have thought possible. We believe there is no limit to what students can achieve socially, personally and academically. This year, our students’ academic results reflect our shared commitment to excellence in this area.

Our entire school community is proud to share our students at BIS Hanoi achieved exceptional results in this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

For the 2020/21 academic school year, BIS Hanoi’s achieved a pass rate of 100 per cent this year. The average score was 38.2 higher than the IB global average of 33.02 points globally, widening the gap between the school and other IB schools around the world. This result also showcases the difference that Nord Anglia Education schools bring to students’ academic results.

We are thrilled to announce that 17 students from our school achieved 40 points and above.  This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.

In addition, 68 percent of the graduating students were awarded the special distinction of a bilingual diploma for demonstrating first language proficiency in two or more languages.

All of us here at BIS Hanoi would also like to congratulate our graduating seniors. These students have put in incredible hard work over the years and we can’t wait to see what they do in the future.

This year, Nord Anglia students around the world achieved an IB Diploma pass rate of a 98 percent in total. IB examination scores climbed in every school in the Nord Anglia family with a 36.2 global point average. Results were higher than this year’s global average of 33.02, outperforming other IB schools around the world. This marks the eighth consecutive year that Nord Anglia schools have surpassed global average scores.

A huge congratulations to all our graduates and IBDP achievers for a job well done!
