Staff Profile: Hannah Agass

Hannah Bradford BIS Hanoi 2018

Hannah graduated as a Marine Biologist in 2007 and went on to work as a Recruitment Consultant for Scientific staff.  She completed her PGCE in Science at Sunderland University before teaching in an outstanding school in Newcastle for four years. During this time she also mentored other trainee teachers, took part in many school projects, trips and initiatives and gained experience in the role of Second in Department. Hannah moved to Mexico City in 2013 with her fiancée Tom where she taught IBDP Biology for two years. Deciding to take the opportunity to travel at the end of their contracts they set off on a round the world trip where Hannah got to visit the Galapagos Islands, the dream for all Biologists! She maintains a passionate interest in environmental issues and scientific developments and supports numerous charities worldwide. As a Maine Biologist Hannah takes every opportunity to enjoy the ocean through swimming and diving.
