Victoria Kwakwa World Bank Assembly

05 June 2015

For our assembly this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Victoria Kwakwa, Country Director for the World Bank in Vietnam.

  • BVIS Hanoi World Bank assembly (1)
  • BVIS Hanoi World Bank assembly (2)
  • BVIS Hanoi World Bank assembly (4)
  • BVIS Hanoi World Bank assembly (3)

It was a privilege to hear about the World Bank’s role here in Vietnam and of the impact that the organisation has had so far here. It was truly inspirational and thought-provoking. I hope that many of our students will take on board their social responsibility to continue to develop Vietnam and support global organisations who aim to erase poverty in the world.
