Mrs Sarah Wild Weekly Update 24/6/2016

24 June 2016

If my calculations are correct, this will be my 106th newsletter at BVIS! It is strange to imagine that I will no longer be writing weekly reports on what your children have been doing.

But what a wonderful 3 years I have had in the company of such amazing students and what a memorable last week!

Monday we started with a stem day (see Mr Will’s article), followed by the 3-year party with parents and the music competition for Secondary students. It was a great opportunity to speak to you parents again and say goodbye. And well done to Khanh Linh and all the finalists!

On Tuesday, students attended a health day and learnt a lot about nutrition, a very important theme for us all. Wednesday was a sports day with many sporting activities taking place, including the Secondary House Swimming competition. We finished our last full day with BVIS has got talent, an afternoon of fun and where again I witnessed students developing confidence and showing high levels of skills in particular in the field of music and dance. Year 11s at lunch time came in to throw a surprise ‘thank you’ party for the staff!  It was lovely to see them again and witness their close relationship with staff.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you parents for all your support over the years and to wish you and your children good health, luck and success in the future.
