Welcome to BVIS Secondary activity update.
Seussical Jr!
Since September, the cast and crew of this year’s musical production, Seussical Jr, have been learning lines, choreographing dance moves and rehearsing the scenes for the final performances that we have so enjoyed this week. The show has been a triumph with stunning individual and group acting and singing performances - set amidst some of the best stage props I have ever seen in any school or professional performance.
In order to get to this point the students have had to work so hard on what they need to do as individuals, and then come together as a team. They have had to prepare themselves and rely on each other.
On Thursday at Period 3, Primary students come to see this show and we are happy to see students all enjoy it.
On Thursday and Friday night, we welcomed all students and parents who own ticket to the show. We still maintain social distancing. Therefore, we limit the maximum of 300 seats for each show. All the money we have collected from the show will be donated to Blue Dragon.
Student Parliament in Action
This week, it was wonderful to see student parliament prepare Christmas presents for Secondary students. Santa Claus will give Christmas presents to all students on the last day of Term 1.
