His passion for working with children began volunteering on youth projects and sports clubs in Birmingham. Whilst gaining his degree, he became a play worker during the holidays and volunteered for local charity supporting adults and children with disabilities. These experiences led him to pursue a career in teaching.
After working in a Primary school in Birmingham, he moved to Oman where he relished the opportunity to work with children and adults from all over the world and discover a new country and culture.
He is an avid sportsman and he has run sports’ clubs in each of the schools he has worked in. Rugby is his favourite sport but he also enjoys running, cycling, swimming, tennis and Gaelic football.
