After graduating from the Institute of Education, Liam has been teaching for the last eight years in schools across London. Liam has worked in a variety of roles and was most recently a Head of Year and Deputy Head of Department for several years. Liam entered the teaching profession as he believes in the power of education and knowledge in order to help motivate and inspire young people. He believes that education has the strength to break away boundaries and encourage young people to be an individual and responsible for making their own wise choices. Throughout his teaching career, he has always set high standards for his students, and is looking forward to continue to reinforce this mindset in his role as a Head of Year and Teacher of Geography at BIS Hanoi.
Liam has travelled to Vietnam and, particularly Hanoi several times and has fully embraced the culture and way of life in the capital city, and is here with his wife and two young children. In his spare time, Liam loves spending time with his family, travelling, exploring the best vegetarian cuisine across the globe and, reading up about the latest developments on the most poignant environmental issues of our time.
