New Director for NAISR We look forward to welcoming Ms. Niki Meehan to Nord Anglia International Rotterdam (NAISR) as our new Director for the start of the 2020-21 school year. 

We look forward to welcoming Ms. Niki Meehan to Nord Anglia International Rotterdam (NAISR) as our new Director for the start of the 2020-21 school year. 

Niki was appointed following a robust selection procedure which included interviews with students, parents and staff from all levels of the organisation. 

As the Principal of Nord Anglia School Jakarta, Niki has overseen many achievements, including the successful transition from a Dutch school to an international school that supports a Dutch programme, as well as the development of a positive culture with strong parent partnerships and community ethos.  Niki will bring all this experience to NAISR to help move the school forwards in the coming years.

Niki has already visited NAISR two times and is gearing up towards a strong start in August.  She is looking forward to geting to know the NAISR community.  Please join us in congratulating Niki, and welcoming her to NAISR.

Niki Meehan's Biography

Niki is an experienced and passionate educator whose career spans over twenty years and several counties, including China, Slovakia, Thailand, Indonesia and Eritrea. She has held a number of school leadership positions before joining Nord Anglia School Jakarta as Principal in January 2018. Prior to Jakarta, she was Vice Principal at the British International School Shanghai and Head of Primary at the British International School Bratislava, both Nord Anglia Education schools. Passionate about international education, Niki creates learning environments and cultures that nurture a love of learning. She inspires children to be curious, creative and bold risk takers and helps prepare them to be globally minded citizens.

Niki enjoys a wide range of sports, especially walking, swimming and yoga. She has coached many sports teams and gets great satisfaction from motivating young people through sport and outdoor education. She also likes to lose herself in creative projects. Niki will be moving to Rotterdam with her husband and young daughter. Niki has an older daughter who is at university in Edinburgh.
