Another full and busy week at Northbridge. We hope you like the individual and group photograph information we sent out today? Please read over the email, view the proofs and put in your orders by Friday 13th April at the latest. If you choose to keep them these are a delightful record of your child's development over time. Enjoy.
MRISA AX/STEAM - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Last week we had a team of 25 NISC students traveling to ISHCMC in Vietnam to take part in the MRISA Arts Exchange (AX) and STEAM Fair.
We are tremendously proud of our students, not only for producing great results and showing off their creativity and collaboration, but for representing the school in a positive way.
Students involved in Visual Arts workshops produced some beautiful artworks that were displayed in a gallery exhibition, while our Dance, Drama and Music participants put on an incredible show that was very well-received by the audience.
As for our STEAM teams, Johnny, Harry and Vong Vong were part of the team that won the Passive Amplifier build challenge and took home some medals, while our Jnr. STEAM team (Por Yi, Gyubin, Bovee, Oh Kyoung and Ryan) won first place in the lego robotics obstacle course challenge.
We are very pleased with the success of our teams and it shows the strength of our Arts and STEAM culture at our school. Thanks to all students and teachers involved in this successful trip!
