Among these students will be Sereyvattanak H., who achieved an almost perfect score of 44/45, putting him in the top 1% of IB students worldwide. He had this to say:

“To my fellow graduates. Our beautiful time together has concluded, and now a new chapter awaits. We must be kind, curious, and inquisitive in taking in all of life: the good with the bad, and everything in between, because that’s what it means to be a lifelong learner.”

In addition to Sereyvattanak, 10% of Northbridge students studying the IB received 40+ points, far above the worldwide average of 30.

Northbridge Head of Secondary Ms Sarah Newton said: “Over the last two years, our students have faced many challenges. Their resilience and strength has been inspiring. These results reflect their determination to succeed in their studies, and their commitment to their futures. They should be very proud of themselves, as all of us at Northbridge are.”

Northbridge Principal Ms Frances Morton added: “We see our success as a school reflected in our students’ potential and their willingness to be their personal best. It’s been a privilege to be a witness to that with our Class of 2023.”
