Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

I am writing to you today from London, which is sunny but really rather cold…I have had to find hats and gloves that don’t get much use in Qatar!

This week, all of our Nord Anglia sister schools gather together for a week of recruitment activities, including interviewing teachers for the coming academic year. We are already signing up some excellent candidates for all areas of the school, including new Primary class teachers and new subject teachers for both Secondary and Whole School. I am particularly pleased to announce the appointment of a new ICT teacher who will work with students from Upper Primary all the way up to GCSE. It will be fantastic to add GCSE ICT to our offer for students going into Year 10 next year. We have also appointed a teacher to deliver Islamic Education in English, giving a wider choice to parents as to whether their children study in Arabic or English, as per the Ministry of Education’s requirements. I am also recruiting additional teachers for English, Maths and Arabic to allow us to provide smaller class sizes for your children. Once offers and contracts are signed, we will begin to introduce you to all of these new teachers so that you can get to know them before they even start work!

Have a wonderful week and I look forward to being in school again on Sunday.
