I graduated from Edge Hill University in the North-West of England in 2011 after completing the three year BA Honours Degree in Primary Teaching. After two years of teaching across Cheshire, I completed my NQT and continued my teaching career in an international setting. I moved to Qatar where she taught in an international school for two years before moving to the British School of Yangon in Myanmar. After completing the one-year contract, I chose to settle in Bangkok and so far has worked two years in another International School before accepting the position of Year 2 teacher here at St Andrews International School. I am currently teaching my second year at St Andrews.
I grew up in Warrington in the North-West of England and had always wanted to be a teacher. I took Art and Textiles at school and chose Creative and expressive arts (Art, Music and Drama) as my specialist subject at university. My hobbies are yoga, badminton, travelling and enjoying socialising with friends from all over the world. I love music and dance and enjoys going to festivals and listening to live music.
St Andrews International School Bangkok is different from other schools I have worked in because it has so many options available for the inclusion of all children, no matter what their ability. They have amazing resources and equipment to make the learning experience fun and memorable and has an amazing team of teachers and support that together form a strong bond.
"I really like Miss Hollie teaching me. She is really nice and funny."
