I became a teacher in 2011 after a 12-year career in communications because I wanted to make a difference and I have not been disappointed. Working with young people and supporting them to be their best is a huge privilege and the inclusive nature of St Andrews International School Bangkok is very important to me. I pride myself on being a creative teacher who is flexible and always willing to adapt their approach. I love how much St Andrews students make me think and are willing to get involved in activities.
I am passionate about the world and am trying to better understand it through History, Geography and language. Living in Bangkok is an incredible opportunity to explore the natural and cultural wonders of Asia. I recently visited the Galapagos; snorkeling with sea lions and penguins there has left a huge impression. I hope that through my ECA I can work with students to protect this incredible planet.
I first worked at St Andrews from 2015 to 2017 and I was delighted to return in 2018. I missed the school's unique atmosphere - it is a truly happy place to be.
