I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and I went on to earn my Master's in Education from the University of Southern California in 2017. I have been teaching Biology since 2018 and work hard to connect curriculum with real world applications.
I was born and raised outside of Chicago growing up with parents who loved sports and music. My mom, being a chemistry teacher, encouraged my love for science. I hope to pass on the same enthusiasm in my classroom. I enjoy traveling, food, cooking, classic rock and trekking.
This school is inclusive and genuinely cares about student and staff well being. We all come together as a community to make everyone's experience here a pleasant and fulfilling one.
“Students say I am energetic and supportive. They appreciate my passion for science and my good sense of humor.”
