I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology specialising in Biotechnology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2012. I then went on to complete a Graduate diploma in Teaching. In 2013 I moved to London and taught in a large secondary academy. I spent 2 years as coordinator for Key Stage 3 Science. In 2019 I moved to Bangkok where I taught in and small international school before moving to St Andrews in 2021.
I love photography and adventurous travel (hiking, bicycling, diving etc.). I love science and have a keen interest in new biotechnology and how to use data and science to make the world better!
I am excited to be teaching here at St Andrews because of the inclusiveness of the school and the friendliness. I think it is special because of the focus toward student led education.
"All of your lessons are fun and knowledgeable, we're very comfortable having fun with you in your lessons. Thank you for all you're hard work to teach us."
"You cheered me for all my falls just to hope I can rise up again. You adopted me into A-level Biology which I wasn't even capable of at first. You pushed me hardest than anyone has pushed me."
"Thanks for understanding me when I don't understand Biology"
"You have made science so fun and exciting for me and my friends to enjoy. I really love your experiment."
